I am a retired Transport Manager living in Woodford, Stockport I enjoy theatre and am an active member of Woodford Community Players I am now looking to be involved within film and television as an actor or extra. I am mobile and available at short notice if required. I have a disciplined approach to work and punctual I am happy to take direction but can also improvise if required.

General Experience

Extensive Amateur theatrical experience over many years in leading roles ( "Edward" in Someone to watch over me) ,"King George " in The Madness of George the Third, "Inspector Pratt" in Murdered to Death) I was nominated by N.O.D.A. and won
best actor for George and Pratt. I have also played many minor roles in serious drama and comedic roles.

Experienced in Dramatic and comedy performance, have performed in local dialect ( Irish accent in Someone to watch over me as Edward, Northern accent in When we were Married and Celebration) I Have also worked with children as a storyteller and professionally as Father Christmas in a large Shopping mall. I have also given T.E.D.x talks to college students with reference to research into the portrayal of any particular character.
