A recent life changing experience has taught me not to take life as granted. I’ve recently came back to acting, writing short stories and my music. My experience alone does not show the level of commitment and loyalty i actually have, in practise my passion makes up for all of that.

Although I do not hold qualifications in Drama related studies, I do have a BA Hons in Business information systems.
I do have some general experience but would like to widen my horizons & take my passion & give all that I can give.
I just need the chance to show exactly what I can give!

Relevant Skills

I Love working with people in general, especially with younger people. I have 6 beautiful young nieces & nephews with whom I look after every week usually without fail, for a some years now. I realise that they are so impressionable, innocent and honest, that they all deserve some good role models in their lives. Im not saying that im a saint but I do believe i have good morals, im honest and also good fun to be around (so they say that is).

I make sure I listen & that im there to support them and also respectful of what they want and need for any subject they wish to talk about or spend time on.

I did spend a year where i volunteered to be a member of 'The Briars Residential Centre' in Derby, where we lived and worked on site. Its a Catholic retreat centre and worked 6 1/2 days a week with Sunday afternoon off, locally. I was responsible for a group of people aged 6 to 25 on average but can be above sometimes, mainly from Schools across the country.

My role was to lead group of 5 - 12 people with various activities such as introduction & trust exercises, team building activities, helping them build their confidence by way of social support and encouragement, helping them build on communication and listening skills and what it means to be a part of a team themselves.

Throughout my life, I've always enjoyed spending time with people whether it be socially or for work. I was unwell back in 2012 where I have spent some time in hospital (not for Cancer), I cut back a lot of different aspects of my life but as I am much better I do really miss this interaction with others and wanted to do something about it.
