About Me

I'm 21 from Tamworth near Birmingham, England. An uneasy upbringing always made it hard for me to follow my dream of actingand after a personal tragedy in 2009 I put my life on hold. It wasn't until a year later I managed to start recovering and I put my mind to acting which is when i joined TACT. Now I want to further increase my acting experience in TV and film and while my low experience and no qualifications or training can make others look like a better choice, it makes me even more determined to prove myself that even though I didn't get the same oppurtunities as others I am just as hard-working, driven and capable as anyone else if not more so. I'm not someone you will regret working with.

I've been with an amateur drama group called TACT for over a year entering the All England Theatre Festival earlier this year and getting through to the semi finals.

Relevant Skills

Thanks to my previous and current job, I am a very confident, hard working, friendly, approachable and responsible person. I'm not shy with meeting new people and I am always friendly with everyone I meet. I don't shy away from responsibilty and can be firm but fair. I'm not shy about giving my opinion but I know how to control myself and am not arrogant or offensive, only giving it when at an appropriate time.

Interests & Hobbies

I enjoy seeing new films at the cinema, keeping up with new releases as well as whats in the pipeline for things that may interest me, cycling, reading, playing video games and spending time with my girlfriend.

Miscellaneous Information

My life so far has made me very aware of the world around me and that things go wrong a lot. I know nothing will happen if I sit around and wait for it, I've got to go out and make it happen. My low experience may look bad written down but in no way does it reflect my talent. Working with me may seem like a silly thing to do when there are others who have the training or qualifications I lack, but it is this lack that makes me the hard working determined person I am and all it takes is for you to take a chance and realise I have a lot to give.
