About Me

I am a hard working individual who is very interested in drama and has been from a young age. I have studied drama at school for many years and am taking it as a subject at GCSE level. I have been involved in many school plays including a variety of lead roles and I have been in every school play during my time at the school so far.

I hope to become an actress and would like to be one day be working on stage, on television or in films. I am a very enthusiastic and ambitious person when it comes to drama and acting and I put everything into my performances to make sure I do the best job I can. I take criticisms well and use them to constantly improve myself.

Not only do I enjoy taking part in plays, I also enjoy watching them and have been to say plays such as: "The Woman In Black", "The Misanthrope", "Glass Menagerie". I also have a passion for films and am constantly keeping updated with new and current films.

General Experience

Played the lead part of Juliet in the school play "Romeo and Juliet" at school.

Played one of the lead parts in the play "Mother Figure" by Alan Ayckbourn (Rosemary) at school.

Played several supporting acts in "East of Sun, West of the Moon", "Threepenny Opera", "A Christmas Carol" and "Just" at school.

Qualifications & Training

I have Grade 2 Distinction in The Speaking of Verse and Prose from
The London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art.

I have an award for taking a summer drama workshop at the Tiny Planet Productions. I gained skills in the fields of: Performance, Mime, Dance, Sound Effects, Design, Spontaneous, Improvisation and Devising.

Studying drama at GCSE level, predicted A* grade.

I have the confidence to perform in front of large audiences and can cope under pressure. I am confident but not arrogant and so do not act out of turn and do not have a problem with authority.

I am a good team player and have a positive attitude, which helps motivate others I work with. In the past when I have taken part in school plays I have managed to enthuse my colleagues and help boost some peoples performances.
I have good communication skills including clear speech and a wide vocabulary.
I have a proven skill for learning lines quickly and correctly to deadlines.

Interests & Hobbies

I am interested in plays, films and television series. Apart from this I also take part in many sport activities such as tennis, netball and swimming. I am also interested in technology and robotics and like to keep myself updated on the latest gadgets.
