ACTING BIO

Sarah sat her first drama exam when she was 5 and by the time she was 15 had won the coveted title of Best Overall Dramatic Performance of 2001 in Australia.

As soon as she graduated from school she went on to study the Stella Adler and Lee Strasberg intensive method acting techniques at the Nicholson School of Acting. Sarah then went on to work continuously, securing roles in TV series, shooting high profile national commercial campaigns and performing on stage.

After conquering Perth, Sarah moved to Melbourne and secured her first major film role in 2009 as a truck driver in the Australian feature film, “Stone Bros.”. This saw her gain nominations for Best Actress and
Best Young Actor in the IFA’s and the AFI Awards respectively. (Inside Film Awards & Australian Film Institute). She also gained a further nomination for a People’s Choice award in 2010 from the Inside Film Awards Board.

Shortly after the success of “Stone Bros.”, Sarah gained the role of a ‘New York Model’ in Nicholas Cage’s last feature film, “The Knowing”.

Sarah is aware that Australia is very small in the world of acting and is hoping her move to London will mean much more continued, varied and recognised work.

PRESENTING BIO

Sarah got her first taste of presenting as the Sports & Weather Correspondent on the breakfast TV show, “Wake Up Perth”. She soon moved up in the ranks, adding the title of Co-Host to her credit and presenting over 100 shows live-to-air.

Sarah’s next challenge came at the expense of over 2,000 other hopefuls when she was awarded a place in the final four of MTV’s search to find their next presenter. The journey through the live auditions and subsequent voting stages of this competition was made into a reality TV show documenting the progress of the finalists and was hosted by Jackass star Bam Margera. Shortly after this whirlwind experience at MTV Sarah relocated from Perth to Melbourne and immediately began working as a presenter.

Sarah has worked the red carpet at many high profile events and parties including the
L’Oreal Melbourne Fashion Festival, the BWM Melbourne Cup and has hosted several Charity Balls, addressing over 500 guests at each event for the Australian Asthma Foundation, which has risen over $200,000 since its inception.

After having made a name for herself in Australia, but not before shooting a top secret kids cooking show series, Sarah is now looking forward to bigger and better opportunities in London.
