About Me

Since completing a one-year intensive acting course at the Acting Studio, Morley College, headed by the remarkably creative Dominic Grant, I have managed to keep busy. In December 2010, I finished a three-month theatre for radio course at the City Lit in London and am now doing a weekly method acting class with Ray Shell. In July 2011 I played the lead role of Dr Alec Harvey in Noel Coward's Still Life (production at the White Bear Theatre in London and in February I played an irate and over-protective husband in a University of Kent production. I also had a role later that month in a Moonshine Generation film (a musical production, in which I played a dope-dealing bar tender, show-reel to follow). In March, I had another film role in a London College of Communications film, due to shown later this year. In August/September 2011 I played the role of the Plagued Man in a London Film School production, Mother, by Chi Yu.
As you will see from my CV, I have performed a variety of different roles over recent years but to keep my resumé as concise as possible, I have omitted a number of other roles I performed whilst at the University of the West of England (studying English and drama) and in various theatre groups (Judge Collyer, in Rattigan's The Deep Blue Sea; Judge Brack, in Ibsen's Hedda Gabler; the Mobiliser, in SeanO'Casey's Juno and the Paycock etc.), as well as well as a number of radio programmes I helped devise and acted in or narrated. I also have extensive experience in the audio-visual domain, providing voice-overs for ActuaPresse (La Louvière), voice-overs for short animation films for companies in Bruges and interviewing for Belgium Indymedia radio projects.
Whilst living in Belgium I studied method acting on a one year part-time course in Brussels, followed by a week's intensive residential method acting training course in Grozdnjan, with the Ljubjana Acting Studio. My playing types range from tough working class characters, like Jud in Kes, to the more vulnerable, sensitive characters like Rattigan's Judge Collyer.
I work as a freelance translator (French and Spanish into English), which gives me the flexibility to attend auditions and follow different acting courses but am seeking to work professionally in all branches of theatre, television or film.
