About Me

I am a student at Dallam 6th form in Milnthorpe, Cumbria and i am studying English Literature, Drama and Theatre Studies and Media Studie. These subjects go hand in hand academically. i am extreamely passionate about acting and I think if I got the cahnce to go ahead and star in a feature film or T.V Drama, it would be a dream come true.

I have been in a local youth Pantomime for the past 4 years and have perfromed at the Brewery Arts Centre in Kendal, Cumbria. i have also had the chance at performing on stage at 'The Grand' Theatre in Lancaster, Lancashire.

General Experience

My experience in acting has been in front of masses of audiences for a progression of 3 nights every year for the past four years, and all the reahearsals leading up to these performances have been in front of a small audience of retired experienced actors and actresses.

Relevant Skills

I believe i have the skill of being able to adapt the role i am given, to everyday life. meaning i would become that character for the duration of the shooting time and this would help me to become a more convincing and credible character. I also have the skill of good time keeping and dedication to the task that I am set, and I think this to be a valuble skill in this area of business.

Interests & Hobbies

I love to read! i am very passionate about books, almost as much as acting. I have read many different types of books and have a broad sense of writing. my reading includes the Harry Potter series and books by Malorie Blackman, author of 'Noughts and Crosses'. i also enjoy books by Steven King and Suzanne Cookson. My favourite authour has to be Roal Dahl, and the book would have to be 'The Twits'. Along with reading I enjoy cooking for fine dining, and Nigella Lawson is my favourite chef. i would say walking is one of my phyisical hobbies as i do it everyday with my dog. and i also enjoy mixed Netball at 6th Form.
