About Me

hey, my name is rachel may sandford. Im 16 and 17 on june 14th 2011. I am a very hard working, and a very out going person. i love the performing arts industry and would love any oppurtunity which involved dance, acting or singing as i love all of these with a passion. i have performed on stage since i was the age of 6. i was told by my parents i was dancing before i was walking and singing before i was speaking and being a drama queen! haha. i am so passionate about what i do. i study IB dance. Performing arts and Media studies. i also do private singing lessons with my coach on mondays for an hour and we do recordings which i love! but would love to take it further and get out there and get noticed and do something that i love for my future. which is perform.
i have also had a passion for modelling too. my step uncle has his own studio built for me to have photoshoots in. i have a range of photo's on my facebook "rachel may" in different albums. i also did a modeling shoot for rachel abraham too. They are also on there.
i would love the chance to be noticed for modeling to and give that ago definetly. i am 5.5 blonde, blue eyes. size 6-8.

General Experience

i have done shows since i was 6 years old. i have performed singing, dancing and acting on stage and have loved every second of it. i have always had a dream to be noticed, to be someone that people can look up to as someone that is a normal young girl, studying at a normal college with a normal life and making it far is her dream. i want to do it to make myself and my family and loved ones around me proud, and show that anyone can make it if they try and want it that bad they are willing to work so hard to get there. i have had oppurtunitys to teach routines at my college, i have worked with people for auditions for singing by doing private singing lessons with them. i have had experience in all areas, dance, drama and singing and have a different set of smills for each one.

Qualifications & Training

i have worked for my work experience with young children at a primary school as a supply teacher. i loved this experience and working with children, young people is something i also love, knowing that they have a dream that they want to get somewhere and i can be there to help them get there and work towards what there true dream is in life!
i have also worked at a kids club working as a a helper with younger children after school. i used to teach a little dance group and help them put on performances and help them build up their confidence.

Relevant Skills

i have different range of skills in dance, acting, singing and modeling.
in dance i have done contemporary, jazz,street,hip-hop,musical theatre and ballet.
i have learnt different techniques and skills in each of these types of dance and have the ability to give each of them a very good go and am able to do them.
in acting i have done musical theatre, in your face drama, comedy, theatrical, and very serious drama too.
i have mostly done musical theatre acting as took part in alice in wonderland, robin hood,hansel and gretel, grease, hairspray.
in singing i have perofmed on my own, in groups and done priavet singing lessons for a while. i have a recording system at home and have put videos of me online. i wish to take my singing so far and do so well with it.

Interests & Hobbies

i have always loved working with children, young people.
i do dance singing and acting basically everyday of the week and love every second of it. i wouldnt give up performing for the world.
i love swimming, working with animals, teaching, and beauty
i love doing makeup, hair and fashion designs too. i always take pride in my appearance and love helping people out such as, when we have bih productions/shows on i am always there to help with hair and makeup and making them feel amazing when they are on stage.

Miscellaneous Information

i have lived in milton all of my life, i have a brother aged 12 who has a passion for performing too. i have a dad who works for a printing company and loves designing for different companys. he normally does designs for beauty and big companys in london to do with all beauty products, he really teaches me alot too.
i lost my mum july 17th 2009 on her 40th birthday. she had different range of jobs. she always had a passion for art and wanted to go so far with her art as she was incredible. But she was a nurse then became someone who worked with science and drugs. she loved her job but she always had a passion with her art and everyone believed in her.
i still have all my grandparents who i love to pieces, and uncles and aunties and cousins :) everyone in our family is very passionate about what they do in life. And all have that goal that they all are/were determined to reach.
