About Me
Hello, My name is Rachel Holland. I am a 18 year old from Kent, and have a great passion for acting. I have lots of experience both on screen and stage. I have done amateur dramatics both in and outside school, playing main characters in various performances e.g. Alice in Alice in wonderland, Hatter in Alice in wonderland, white witch in The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe. I have also been in the ballet productions of Copellia (twice) and Cinderella with the European Ballet company. I have played various extras roles in performances such as Oliver (twice),Cinderella, The King and I, Treasure Island Panto. I am also playing main characters in media projects (a film and a music video)- the music video is now complete with show reel to come- I play a stereotypical sexual character in contrast to the abused housewife and a shy partner, all abused by the same man, exacting their revenge with the assistance of 'the Angel of death'- and I was both an actor and an assistant director in an autism awareness film being shown in schools around Medway. I am also currently in a youth project piece in which I am a main character. I have done drama at GCSE and am currently doing it at Alevel. I have received distinctions in both level 5 and 6 drama and an A* at GCSE with full marks in one of my acting pieces (devised). I have also achieved an A recently in my AS drama performance exam.
