About Me

I am a 19 year old student in my second year at the University of Leeds studying a degree in International History and Politics.

I was born in East London and have lived there most my life up until moving to Leeds to study.

I am an enthusiastic and open-minded individual and am prepared to try almost anything.

Relevant Skills

In my first year of university I was nominated as vice-President and social secretary of my accommodation. In this role I liaised and cooperated will all manner of individuals, which ultimately relied on confidence and an ability to articulate my ideas. I feel both of these skills are crucial in acting.

In my second year I have been offered the role of Student Ambassador in which I am required to give speeches and hold discussions with incoming students and their parents. This further alludes to my communicative skills.

Interests & Hobbies

I have a strong interest in sport having played football my entire life and competed at district level athletics.

I also have an interest in travel and have been fortunate to spend 2 years living in South Africa.I have recently completed a 90 day trip around Central and Eastern Europe. This experience provided me with the opportunity to embrace a wide array of cultures. Furthermore, I was continually exposed to situations out of my comfort zone in which communication and co-operation with a range of individuals was imperative.

Yet, my greatest interest is in film and drama as I wish when I finish university to pursue a career based around acting. I have a passion for British comedy and Film, and hope to work in these particular industries upon completion of my degree.
