About Me

I believe passionately in justice and freedom of speech, media is very important. I have been interested in performing since I was very young and have been in various drama groups since I was about 7 years old.
Currently, I am at university studying physics and am part of various campaigning groups there. I have volunteered at the local homeless shelter and done conservation work. I love singing and acting and do not find much of an outlet for these skills at university. I would like to perform in much more when I leave university.

As part of the campaigns against the cuts, Theatre Against the Cuts put on free shows for the public. In Lancaster I volunteered to do a monologue called Open Heart Surgery.

Qualifications & Training

I have a Drama and Theatre Studies A Level from Loreto Grammar School. My group got a Band one for both performance pieces and overall I got an A grade.

I spent five years with Northern Youth Theatre School learning drama and performing musicals.

I have a grade 5 in singing and grade 2 in guitar.

Relevant Skills

I can lick my elbow and I am looking at improving my general flexibility. I can swim and have done basic dancing in musicals.
I have worked in a pub and shop so I know how to act in these situations.

Interests & Hobbies

I take part in tai chi classes taught by a friend and I am hoping to start pole dancing classes. I try to keep my fitness up and do aerobics classes and take jogs sometimes.
I like anime, as well as television programs with substantial character development like The Wire. I enjoy watching comedy films and films that mean something to me. I especially liked V for Vendetta and Natalie Portman. I like to read books from time to time.
