About Me

My name is Lauren Garlick, I am an 18 year old girl who will soon be 19. Drama has been my life as well as singing. I love to perform because I get to be someone else for a while. I realise it isn't easy breaking into the industry but I am prepared to go to auditions even if I do get rejected. I study at college in the week and I don;t have a job.

I have studied two years of acting in college and have performed in a couple of plays. I have learnt how to learn lines, how to say them as a character, how to get into a character, how to show emotion, what movements to do, stage positioning and stage awareness.

I have studied singing for the past year and have learnt how to get into tune and breathing techniques and also how to stand whilst performing. I joined my college choir and have performed at a couple of events.

I have studied dance for two years and have learnt street, contempary and I did the twist dance from Pulp Fiction. I have performed in a couple of dance shows.
