About Me

Hey, my name is Katie/Kate, whichever is easier! I'm an aspiring musician with a HUGE passion for the guitar. I got my first guitar at the age of 10 and have been playing ever since. I have been writing my own music for a while now, and recently have started to put an album together to really try to go for my dream of playing music for a living. I am extremely enthusiastic when it comes to music and am always open to new things and opportunities. I really look forward to the future in hope that one day I will be able to fulfill my dream of becoming a full time musician.

General Experience

Acoustic guitar- No grades but of a medium to high standard.
Been song writing for about 4 years.
Vocals- Nothing professional but very good with pitches/ staying in key. Have been singing for about 4 years.
Experience in studios, both as the artist and as the sound engineer.
Good with Cubase.
Have performed many times in front of audiences with guitar and vocals.
Spent 5 years in a choir.
Write my own music.

I play the acoustic guitar and I sing.

I can write a complete song and mix it to quite a good quality.
I have experience both on and back stage of live performances, so I have a good idea of what is going on around me.

Interests & Hobbies

When I'm not writing or performing music, I'm listening to it! I also have a big interest in literature. I have been into writing poetry and stories ever since I was about 6. These days I tend to bass a lot of my writing on dreams I have, as I tend to have very vivid, interesting and complex dreams which are very inspiring sometimes.
