About Me

My name is Jessie Pearson, aged 17 and currently attending college. I believe myself to be an enthusiastic, bubbly and a happy person and like to beleive I have good self-esteem and confidence, especially when put on the spot. I love to sing, dance, perform and write lyrics. i have been in the musical annie and have been a part of various dance and theatre groups from a young age and would love an oppotunity to express my talent and develop my skills

As a young girl, I always showed an interest and passion for musical theatre. I attended an age 3-10 years performing arts theatre group called 'Bright Sparks performance and dance', and starred in the musical 'Annie' in which i was given a part in the muscial as one of orphans alongside 'Annie'. I performed at my local theatre 'Fairfield Halls' in Croydon and various other small local venues.

During my secondary education, I studied music in which I created two compositions which comprised of many different elements of music. I suprised my tutors, leading them to beleive I had a natural talent for the music and the media industry and great potential.

Unfortunatly, i have not had much experience outside of education in the music buisness; however I am willing to experience new and exciting oppotunities which are aimed to stretch my abilties and knowledge within music.

I have always had an interest for various genre's of dance. I was a part of te 'DanceWorks 4 U' Dance group which taught Ballet, Tap and street dance. I attending after school classes twice a week in my local community centre and was recognised for my great potential. I was a part of the 'DanceWorks 4 U' Dance group for approximatly one year and a half before leaving to attend the 'Bright Sparks performers & dance' theatre group.

As my interestes lie within the Media, Muscial theatre, Performing and TV industry, I am considering applying and enrolling into another local college to study Media or Multi media to gain the skills and knowledge i need to suceed within my chosen career and interests.

I am currently waiting to hear from a local amiture-dramatics group within Bromley and Croydon in which i am hoping to develop my perfomance skills.
