About Me

I am vercitile to all styles of acting; theatre, comedy, emotional. I feel most confident when playing a character and being able to portray a different personality. Dancing is my way of expressing myself, when I feel down or happy I just want to fill a big room with my emotion through my movement.

I am a hard working, conscientious individual. I am confident communicationg with others and getting to know new people and I pride myself in being on time. I work well under pressure within a team also.

I recently modelled for a student who attends Hull University studying fashion design taking part in a catwalk show.

I often model for Training apprentices at Toni&Guy in Hull and have also been a hair model within Unique , Cottingham, Hull.

General Experience

I completed a two-week work placement at Cottingham High School (Cottingham, Hull) as an assistant within the Dance and Drama department. For the duration of the two weeks I had many different roles to cover, a lot of which included teamwork, and communicating with large groups of students. I was involved in assisting group activities, helping with ideas for choreography and offering constructive criticism to some drama and dance students helping them to improve their piece's.
I thoroughly enjoyed my work placement as I found it to be a confidence building experience after being involved with large groups of new people and interacting with students of a wide age range.

Qualifications & Training

I have taken part within Acting and Drama all throughout my 5 years of high school as I chose it as an option to carry on for the last 2 years of my High School education.
I then went on to college to do Alevel Dance, Drama and theatre studies, and Sociology and am very keen to take my passion Acting onto university and hopefully as a future career.

With regards to Acting trainging, alongside my experience school including performance evenings for both dance and drama, I attended a coupld of performing arts schools which led to numerous shows throughout the year.

With reagrds to Dance training, I attended Ballet, Tap, Modern and Jazz from the age of 6 to 10. Then went on to attend Disco, Hip Hop and Street dancing classes for another 3 years. Within High School I learnt a variety of Dance stlyes including Contemporary of which I am most keen and will be entering my second year of college studying this in September.

I auditioned for a dance company called 'Pro-exel' and was selected to perform at a Hull Kingston Rovers v Wigan game at Craven Park, Hull.

Whilst studying at Wyke College I am part of the Wyke Dance Company and attend rehearsals every Monday which work up to an annual showcase at Christmas.

With having an avid interest in dance, music has also become something I enjoy. I have been able to experience live Concerts accross the country including this years Leeds Festival 2011.
I also have a passion for fashion and like to keep up with the latest trends.

Interests & Hobbies

I enjoy watching all genres of films; my favourites being those from the Edwardian and Victorion period, pshycological, romance and comedy. The occasional novel, exercising and keeping fit is a hobbie of mine also. I often find myself choreographing short pieces to music I hear throughout my day.
