About Me

My name is Dan I am a 21 year old student currently on a sport science course within a university in Cardiff. I am originally from North Wales in a small village called Llandyrnog. I have two Brothers both of which are younger then myself and when not university i work as a lifeguard and swimming teacher.
As a rule i love sport whether watching or playing. My main sport is swimming. I used to swim up to 16-20 hours a week getting up at 4.30 am 5 time a week. I have completed many sports course and have taught primary school children in after school activities.

Experience & Qualifications

General Experience

My experienced is quite limited. During Primary and secondary school i was extreamly interested in Drama and as a result i was part of a local drama group to which i performed in a few plays/ productions. The group was stopped and due to the location of were i lived i could not go anywhere else.

Relevant Skills

Working as a lifeguard has meant i have gained a verity of skills that can be adapted in many situations including communication, by talking and listening to people to get there views and experience. Taking the lead and being a role model when teaching children.

Interests & Hobbies

I have a big interest in sport. As you probably can guess from my uni course. My main sports are swimming and water polo, to which i have competed at national and international level. I am also interested in all other sports and generally love going to see live events including Wales in the Rugby.
I also have an interest in music and enjoy listening to both new and old albums.
