General Experience

I have participated in a number of shows throughout my life taking extra, dance or bigger roles. My confidence has increased with every production.

When I was 9, I took my intro 1 street dance exam where I passed with a 'highly commended'. I would have continued these exams if it were possible.

2 years ago I took part in a Christmas variety show with a local stage school where I took part in several dance numbers- theatre, lyrical and hip hop styles. I also undertook a duet, and paired monologue/sketch and sung in the group numbers.

In may 2010 I put on a production titled "GOSH We've got Talent!"- so named because it was in aid of Great Ormond Street Hospital in London, where I raised £800 single handedly. For this I organised the show as well as choreographing routines and participating in the show myself.

Later that month, I danced in the Spalding Flower Parade with Polka Dot Academy.

I am now the street/hip hop choreographer for the newly set up 'Glee Club' at my school, and am also an assistant organiser of the group.

In the near future I hope to undertake a 'YMCA Street dance teacher for kids' qualification and then set up my own dance classes.
