About Me

I am a 18 year old male with a passion for acting and is trying to gain the experience required to build a name for myself within the entertainment industry.
I have always wanted to be involved with acting but haven't been able to become fully committed to a theatre/youth theatre group or acting work until now due to emigrating to Spain at the age of 8 and moving back to the UK just a few years ago.
I am interested in both unpaid and and paid acting and im not limited to where i can travel to work.
The thing that attracts me to acting is the concept of taking a potentially previously un-performed script, building an understanding of it and bringing it to life and creating believable and relatable characters. Other factors that attract me to Acting is that no matter what other hobbies, jobs or career paths I look into or attempt to build an interest in, I cannot seem to maintain any interest or see my future involving it expect that of Acting and all the elements that come along with it.

As I said before I have not had a lot of experience in acting other than my small theatre group, School/College performances, and an extra on a BBC drama/documentry but I am keen to build up this experience and take on new challenges and make my dreams become my reality.

I joined a small theatre company and our first project was to devise and perform a play, after a few sessions we were all asked to write an entire script and the best one was chosen, mine was that one and in the audition processes for the roles before the scrip was chosen I was selected as the lead, Jaykub. The rehursal process was pretty relaxed with all of us taking an avid role in directing the play.
the play first showed on the 27th Jan 2011 and our last 15th Jan 2012, we disbanded as the creative director and founder left to concentrate on other areas of work
