General Experience

I DID BTEC PERFORMING ARTS FOR TWO YEARS, THIS GAVE ME AN OPPORTUNITY TO EXPLORE ACTING, MUSIC AND DANCE. I PERFORMED MUSIC FOR OUR SCHOOL PANTO IN 2010 AND MUSICALS WHICH INVOLVED ALL THREE IN 2011.

Work Experience
Belong (11th -22nd July 2011)
I worked as an admin assistant. I helped out sort document and I frequently did paperwork, helping some clients write letters, observing my supervisor do her job. I enjoyed my time at Belong as I learnt about asylum seekers and gained good administration skills.

Children & Families Family Community Teams (31st July- 3rd August 2012)
I worked as a volunteer based at Radford Children’s Centre, Dunkirk, Lenton and Lenton Abbey. My job was to help out with the children with activities such as song and dance, painting and bracelet making. This job required me to be very flexible as each day I was located at different wards. I also helped encourage children to play sports at forest. I gained a lot of great communication skills as I learnt how to communicate effectively with the children and staff members.
