About Me
I have a lot of experience of stage & recording, mainly as a singer, for example as a chorus member for Raymond Gubbay eg in Carols by Candlelight, which in 2014 was also recorded and broadcast by SkyArts and on which I also appeared as a soloist, singing from the chorus. My experience of audio recording work, which includes the Champions League theme tune as well as many recordings for EMI and Hyperion in particular, means that I am very well used to the realities of a shooting or recording schedule; being disciplined, accurate, patient, able to blend in when needed or take the lead if necessary. The experience I have gained as a singer is completely transferable to screen work and you will find that I am absolutely reliable, motivated and ready to work. I am 58 but look younger; I can age down very easily but of course can age up if needed. I worked as a teacher of teenagers, very successfully, for some years and have the ability to grab and hold attention, in an assertive, but very warm way, that was an essential part of that job.
