The Real D. I. Y M. A. K. E. O. V. E. R. show is the flip side to the makeover show formate that almost always plays fast and loose with the truth, engaging in the type of misdirection that would not look out of place in a magic show.

PURPOSE: Aside from achieving a stunning transformation, the purpose of this make over series is to show (warts and all) what the production proceedure really involves. In other words what is The D. I. Y. M. A. K. E. O. V. E. R. show experience like from all sides of the spectum.

EXPERIENCE: Representatives of all ages and back grounds are welcome and no prior experience is needed (because this is a relevant part of the shows narrative). In fact you need only demonstrate that you have the necessary competencies and that you can be comfortable as yourself in front of our cameras (or maybe have an important contribution to make behind the scene).
