Details:

We're looking for Britain's most inspirational teachers to take part in a Radio 1 Podcast in which Presenter Greg James goes Back To School.

This weekly series of 20-minute podcasts will be accessible and entertaining. The tone will be funny, informal and inclusive, led by Greg’s naturally inquisitive and enthusiastic style. This podcast celebrates the amazing educators that motivate and inspire our children on a daily basis.

We need teachers from all disciplines that would be willing to give Greg a bite-sized lesson... Perhaps an English teacher who makes the Canterbury Tales seem funnier than 'Live at the Apollo, a Maths teacher who explains how a homeless genius came to solve one of the world's greatest puzzles or a History teacher who regales a swashbuckling tale of the most successful pirate of all time who also happens to be a woman!

For each episode the teachers taking part will work with a producer on the content of their lesson. We imagine the planned lesson will be around 10-15 minutes long.
