We're shooting a promotional film to showcase the new Shared Resource Service - the collaborative ITC resource for Torfaen & Monmouth Councils and Gwent Police. To that end, we're looking to cast people to feature in the promotional film. The shooting will take place on July 9th.

As part of the film, we're hoping to cast real people, people who will directly benefit from the SRS - this includes local families, council workers, the police and health professionals.

Ideally we're looking for people who have an interest in performing, possibly with a background in amateur dramatics, although this isn't a requirement. The main thing is enthusiasm for appearing on screen. You should be available for the whole day of filming - you will be fed, watered and looked after and it should be great fun! There is also a small fee for appearing in the film.

There will be a short casting session on June 25th between 11am and 2pm. This will take place at the SRS, Conference Room, 1st floor;

Shared Resource Centre, Victoria House, Gilchrist Thomas Industrial Estate, Blaenavon, NP4 9RL

Some roles may 1 small line of dialogue to deliver (about 10 seconds - a soundbite about the benefits of the SRS) - this will be done off screen as a voice over / interview

The roles we are casting for are as follows, ideally it would hep if you fit the role / profession (and have the appropriate costume - although this is not essential)

Police Officer (in uniform)
Teacher
Nurse (in uniform)
Doctor (White coat and stethoscope)
Graduate (Gown and Mortar Board)
Skilled Construction Worker (Hard Hat Boots, High Vis Jacket - possibly tool belt)
Local Businessman (in suit with laptop bag)
