Job Specifics:

Details:
This production is a second year student film for Bucks New University. It is a short drama that requires 4 roles.
The drama is about two average teenage boys, Pete and Jake. (16) They are on school holidays and are bored with nothing to do each day. Pete decides to place a small spy camera on his cat that he got for Christmas in hope that he will find something interesting going on in his typical everyday housing estate. Pete is optimistic and wants to find something, where as his friend Jake is quite the opposite and doesn't hold out much hope.
The other character is called John He is a Middle aged man, conveyed as bored fed up and basically in a midlife crisis. He is initially shown to be boring and lifeless in the drama, but as the drama progresses we see that the spy camera that Pete and Jake attached to the cat captures John having an affair with another neighbor. From this point on the drama revolves around Jake and Pete watching back the footage and sending the cat out to seek out more goings on of his neighbor John. Ultimately in the end John accidentally pushes the neighbor down the stairs and she is killed, leaving Pete and Jake in shock and disbelieve at what he has just seen.
We are looking for Teenage actors, or younger looking male actors to play the rolls of Pete and Jake. You will need to get into the mindset of a teenage boy and successfully portray the image we are looking for. The rolls are not particularly challenging and most of the dialogue between the two boys is simply friends talking to one another.
