Details:

Ramora Productions require:-

8 Actors (7 women/1 man)
to workshop a new play:

'Welcome to the Party' by Richard Payne

10am - 4pm Huddersfield Saturday 31st August 2019

The casting requirements are still very open at this stage but are (at present) as follows:-
The Trainers Both sleek and establishment, complacent and in charge
Chloe – 50s, prim and proper, well spoken, tough, can be bitchy
Charles - 50s patrician, 'posh', camp but sometimes waspish

The Candidates All twenty or thirty something graduate professionals well spoken, but all uniquely feisty and passionate
Keira - Of mixed race heritage
Ayesha - The daughter of a Ugandan Asian refugee
Susan – The Granddaughter of a Windrush immigrant
Nila - Of Indian heritage
Lian - Of Chinese heritage
Shona - Of Nigerian heritage

Please don't feel you can't apply if you do not fit the initial ideas set out above
All applications are welcome at this stage
YOU MUST HOWEVER BE A GOOD READER
We will have an initial readthrough and then get the play on it's feet
Unfortunately there is no fee or expenses available at this stage (but lunch will be provided).
Successful candidates who workshop well will obviously be in a strong position to secure later casting.
To be considered:-
Please send your details and a photograph to RemoraProductions@outlook.com

Only successful candidates will be contacted. We look forward to meeting you.
