We require an Actor for a short grad film.

“A Storm Is Coming” is a drama about what could happen when a nuclear mushroom cloud suddenly appears on the horizon, plunging the residents of a small, peaceful village into chaos, leaving them completely isolated and wondering if they are the only Brits left alive. In this time of crisis, sensible people become paranoid, personal agendas take over and well-kept secrets threaten to be revealed. Will some people find an inner strength they never knew they had? Who will the most unlikely heroes to emerge?"

We are looking for an actor to play the role of Jason. He is the potential hero of the story who has leadership qualities but as the story develops we see that he can't be a hero. He doesn’t want to care about the home in which he came from but his emotional ties to family drag him back. He can’t stand being home but could not carry on without knowing that home is still there. Will give the most to defend his town in the end. He left his home of Hamlet at 18, is a security guard for bank in London. His lies about his life in London lead to his parents death. He therefore blames himself and stays away from Hamlet until the events of a nuclear storm take place.
