'Behind the Lense'. Chrissie is a webcam model and escourt, her client Erik is a mysterious seducer hiding his identity behind a profile. When he discovers Chrissie's intentions to marry her childhood sweetheart he is plunged into a jelous rage and he stalks the web to find her.


'Behind the Lense' is a a modern adaptation of Leroux's Phantom of the Opera written for an internet generation. It explores the way in which the growth of the web means that anybody can be anyone but nobody can hide..

Chrissie
a webcam model and escort. she is contacted by Elrik who stalks her though the internet. she leads a double life with the escort service and her husband Raoul

Raoul
has a french accent and married to Chrissie. He loves her and is unsuspecting of her secret life until Erik starts to attack her

Elrik
is a voice over character. he pushes for Chrissie affections and even proposes to marry her. when she refuses he does not take the news well.

Mrs Giry
crazy lady with the straw hat. she has affections for Raoul

Chrissie's mother
confined to a wheelchair, she suspects Chrissie has a secret life but looks out for Raoul and her daughter.
