The First Musketeer is a brand new feature length action adventure web series to be shot in the South of France next summer.

Although this is expenses only it will be a great oportunity for those involved to increase their profile online and to develop numerous skills over the next few months through fight and horse training.
That being said it is very important that applicants have a very good level of fitness and preferably previous stage combat training.
We are looking for enthusiastic actors who have a decent amount of flexibility in their schedule to be able to fit in occasional rehearsals and training between February and August.
Web series is a new form of entertainment and we are hoping to utliise this to create something really special that can be enjoyed worldwide by mulitnational audiences. It will require some hard work but the results will be rewarding and will hopefully continue in the long term through further series of The First Musketeer.

Charles Duke of Luynes:

Luynes is the current favourite of King Louis XIII. Through his quest for power he has made many enemies within the French court, and his strength is fading.
He can be described as the "original Richelieu". Before Cardinal Richelieu came to power Luynes controlled the King, but the effort of ruling from the shadows has worn him down, leaving a man on the edge, struggling to keep himself and the country from falling into civil war.
He is noble, charming, but after years of fighting his way to the top he is at breaking point, and the arrival of a young Richelieu may be enough to break him.
