Voice over artists or actors with the ability to record their own voices are required for the first episode of a radio-style serial, but as a podcast.

The story of the brave warrior Thunderbolt, and the wise old sage The Hermit, and their quest for Princess Ramona, Thunderbolt’s wife to be. Along their journey they find themselves facing ferocious enemies and perilous danger. Giant dragons, villainous knights and the woes of unrequited love.

If applying, please supply or have available a voice demo or actor reel. As well as the audio recording equipment you have available. We are based in Australia, so ideally a skype session would be set up when recording to collaboration and direction.

Thunderbolt

Raised from a young age to be a brave warrior and one day to take the throne of his families kingdom. Thunderbolt has come to rescue his kidnap betrothed. He is brash and confident and a gifted warrior. Not what one would describe as a forward thinker, his upbringing has left him quite sheltered.


The Hermit

A reclusive old Hermit, who has taken refuge in a small cave by the ocean. He is far from wise and more of an opportunist. He has a sly cunning about him and somewhere inside him he is slightly wounded.


One-Eye

A vicious brute who commands a band or thieves who reign over a small forest.


Princess Ramona

Thunderbolt’s Betrothed. She is less Damsel in Distress and more a woman trying to forge her own path.


King Logarious

The King of the land. Rumours about his castle and the things that happen within its walls swirl about the villages and Inns.
