Details:
Looking for actor to play the role of a single father who struggles to communicate with his gifted but elective mute daughter.
The father feels challenged by his daughter and as a result tends to fall into his habit/hobby of bird watching because he is comforted by being in a context where he is knowledgeable.
The daughter spends the film trying to construct a birthday gift for the father. It turns out to be an unusual gift however; a mobile made out of dead birds and driftwood. After the film there will be a short photoshoot in order to make a related installation.
