CRACKED is a short experimental drama that explores the life of drug addict Tommy, in particular the variation between his sober personality of the day and his intoxicated, out of control self at night.

Whenever Tommy is high, his drug fueled alter-ego takes over: a superhero costume-wearing, brutal individual. It will be filmed in a way that the audience doesn't know if he is really wearing the costume or if it is just a product of his distorted mind. People don't acknowledge the costume but are drawn in by his apparent "powers" and charm of the alter-ego.

Tommy
Tommy is a quiet, reserved person. The years of drug abuse have made him slightly socially awkward. He doesn't engage much with people and communicates less with speech, more with body language and gestures, despite this he is approachable and intriguing.
His alter-ego however is confident and charming, yet hot-headed and unstable.
Tommy is a complicated character to play as the actor needs to be able to play both sides convincingly and switch between them seamlessly.

Frankie
Frankie is Tommy's friend and dealer. He is a much more confident and laid back person with a good sense of humour. He is popular and liked by most people. Although he deals and takes drugs himself, he is in much more control of himself than Tommy. He is a very cheery an jokey person.
