Details:

Three actors wanted for a serious short film, Two females playing co-parents and one male to play a junior doctor. This project is a 5-minute multi-camera drama piece which is part of the Film & Tv production course at the University of Hertfordshire. The script is based on the BBC series "Casualty" but has been adapted for university use, we are setting it in the modern day and focusing it on a same-sex couple and their adopted son.

Female Parent/Wife "Jenny" -
Jenny is 39, She works as a teacher and was home writing lesson plans the night of Paul’s accident. She has been with Donna for 23 years and they adopted Paul when he was 6 years old. She is struggling with her partner’s dismissal of their son’s wishes post-mortem and is caring and tentative, however, when she must, is straight to the point.

Female Parent/Wife "Donna"
Donna is 41, She works a Bank and this is where she was stuck the night of the accident. Usually she is a very calculated and decisive person, however, when it comes to her family she is defensive and, at times, she lets her emotions cloud her judgement. She has been with Jenny since she was 18, Donna struggles with the decision with Paul’s wishes to be a donor, she also struggles with the knowledge that he is dead and his life support must be turned off.
