Details:

Living through the same routine daily, a scarecrow must fulfill his duties and purpose. Going to work each and every morning to guard crops and attempt to scare away any potential company, this soon effects his outlook on life. His partner soon leaves him for a scarier scarecrow, this pushes him to pursue change upon himself to live up to the scarecrow’s true persona and purpose to become the ultimate terrifying scarecrow. Living as the ultimate terrifying scarecrow he soon begins to evaluate that living up to expectations can only get him so far until his true persona, feelings and emotions are finally ready to show.

This film's purpose is to highlight how expectations from other's can push people (in this case a scarecrow) to the extremes to force change upon themselves before they soon realise the success of being happy is being true to yourself.

This film has every intention in being entered into film festivals.

The 4th November shoot shall be for half a day and the 5th November shoot shall be a short shoot in the hours of the morning and early afternoon so all bonfire festivities potential actors may have will not be effected. Please note, if potential actors are not located near the Staffordshire area then you may be required to stay in over night accommodation to attend the 5th November morning shoot.

Successful applicants shall be given clothing and shall be wearing special made masks at all times during filming so please be wary before applying just in case you have any conditions which may make you feel uncomfortable when wearing masks.

Main Role - Miserable, self-conscious and insecure minded; ‘The Scarecrow’ is worn and torn from living the same routine and over time has grown an attachment to his safe routine. He has always remained comfortable however, not content. Due to his partner leaving him for a terrifying scarecrow, this causes insecure behaviour and he soon pursues drastic change. This character is inspired by the everyday person even with the slightest insecurities who believe that to be happy requires change

No Dialogue - Small yet crucially important role Optimistic, sweet and generous. The "Pure-crow" holds a positive outlook on life after living past tortures of scaring away all potential company. Since then, she has changed her outlook on life completely. She befriends all company (including birds) which may seem difficult to swallow as it contradicts her purpose, however she decided to abandon other's expectations and pursue a life which makes her complete.
