We are a student crew looking to cast a Turkish woman to play the role of Safie, from Mary Shelley's Frankenstein. Safie is a woman who is in a new relationship with a man, Felix De Lacey, and visits his mother Colette with him and reads to her as a comfort. Colette is convinced that there is a creature living in the De Lacey barn and Safie encourages these thoughts whilst Felix rejects the idea completely and is frustrated by Safie's encouragement. There is in fact a harmless creature living in their barn who watches Safie and the family to develop his language skills and understanding of love and intimacy.
