Details:

Headline:
Three actors required
Ethnicity: British Asian/Middle Eastern
To play/represent a fun contemporary, British Muslim family
To be filmed for one scene, as part of a Pitch reel
Location, North London.

Male & Female: Age 25-35 years
One child actor, male: Age 7-10 years

Project description:
To play a contemporary, British Muslim family (not devout) on a seaside holiday in the South of England. One scene - length three minutes. All actors will be sitting in deck chairs speaking to a static camera in a Vox Pop style.

The scene is to be edited as part of a sizzle reel/trailer, to create a promotional Pitch Deck of the project and its potential in concept. This will be sent out to various Production Companies/ and Networks when completed. A wider exposure is possible through further Marketing, which will be decided upon at a later date.

Details:
The Family are from (either) Midlands/Birmingham or West Country/Somerset Cornwall. The willingness to have a go at a regional accent, would be a great plus!

This is an interior shoot. The family will be responding into camera in a Vox Pop tent, to a question asked off screen. This is a scripted scene, whereby the family interacts with each other during the scene. (For reference, similar to/in the spirit of Gogglebox TV )
All actors will have a minimum and maximum of 4-5 lines of interactive dialogue in the scene. Dad will probably have a few more. If interested please get in contact.

Male: Dad aged 25-35 years, chunky build/not muscular. An adventure-seeking,
happy-go-lucky jolly Dad with a few or more extra pounds would be ideal.
For size reference: DJ Kalid will be fine, less or more welcome
Comfortable in vest shorts flip-flops simple hot day beach wear.

Female: 25-35 years. Very much a ‘now’ woman
Smart and confident, looks after herself and the family - she’s really the boss.
Summer beach dress with chic straw hat

Male child: 7-10 years, able to interact with Dad - enthusiastic and clever, with a
sparkle in the eye. The younger looking the better, as the character has an inquisitive bright innocence when interacting with the Dad (which is specific to the scene).

Parent/Guardian required to accompany the child and be on set at all times

Location: London-based interior scene.
:
Shoot Length: One day, 8hrs During daylight 9am-5pm. One scene lasting 3-4 minutes.

Shoot Date: 1st-2nd weekend in April 2019, dates too be arranged and confirmed.

This is an unpaid project; We will of course cover traveling expenses (e.g. rail fares) and
provide lunch and refreshments throughout the day.

We very much hope that those actors interested, will see/realize the potential benefit of
being part of the Pitch Deck, in reference to its planned exposure (and yours) within the industry. In addition, a BTS photographer will be on site, and stills will be made digitally
available, for your portfolio.

The tube station is 2 minutes’ walk from location of shoot. All actors can be met at the
station by the AD if required.

Additional Information:
This is an independent project, By the Screenwriter and Director who have 20 years of
experience within the visual media industry, of work in large scale theatre, video and
design production.
