For our short film, a romantic comedy 12-15 minutes in length. We are planning to submit this film to BFI Film Festival 2011 and after that to other UK and US film festivals.

This is a great chance to get an experience on real, challenging roles and get your name out there.

We are looking for actors with some experience, but we will consider inexperienced actors also if the profile appeals to us with the expectation that you will convince us in the audition as to why you are perfect for that role.

Auditions will be held on the following dates:
Sat 14th May, 12 PM to 4PM – Royal Festival Hall, 5th Floor, Chelsfield Function Room
Monday 16th May 7PM to 9PM - Royal Festival Hall, 5th Floor

We are looking to cast for the following roles, plus understudies for the main roles.
Sunny – Early 20s, handsome, charming, very confident, a ladies man, suave, tends to be verbose, flippant, sarcastic, very persuasive, works in sales, fastest growing sales exec at a Mercedes dealership, can sell a fridge to an Eskimo. Very friendly, helpful to his friends, strong, dominant, leader, quick-temper sometimes.

Dave – Early 20s, okay looking, slightly overweight, friendly, has a weird, usually self-deprecating sense of humour, not good with girls but makes friends with them easily being a nice and helpful guy, always lands in the friend zone, tries to follow fashion trends with moderate success, stuck in dead-end job (assistant dishwasher), loves video games, good with computers, has plans to create a great career in computers.

Christy – Early 20, gorgeous, sexy, flirtatious, is really beautiful and is proud of her “hotness factor”, appears vain but is a loving, caring girl, friendly and helpful to those who manage to get into her inner circle, has had a couple of amateur modelling jobs, consider her job as a glamorous job in show business, works as assistant to a TV producer, fiercely loyal to her friends, faithful to her boyfriend Sunny despite her flirtatious behaviour, dresses glamorously both inside and outside of office. Has long hair that she loves to make into elaborate do’s or sometimes leave loose on her shoulders. Often plays with her hair when in thought or bored.

Allison – Early 20s, blonde, very beautiful but innocent, doesn’t think she is really that beautiful, blushes readily if her looks are mentioned, enjoys puzzles of all kinds and finds computers challenging and fulfilling for that reason, loves to read, doesn’t believe in going out, dating and partying, has very few friends, holds on to old friendships more than making new friends, soft-spoken, polite, hard-working, doesn’t work but hopes to work in computer cryptography after her computer course is finished.

Mira – Good looking in a professional no-nonsense kind of way, very confident and outgoing, knows she is good looking but doesn’t care about it, usually avoids make up, dresses sober but tasteful, treats compliments on her looks and clothes as almost insults, doesn’t stand non-sense especially from guys, goes out to parties only to play with her cellphone in the corner, has a devious sense of humour, loves to make people scratch their heads with her wit, law-student and perfectly suited for it, loves to debate and usually wins, goes out of her way to be kind to those less privileged but never talks about it.
