Educo is a non-profit organization and is endorsed by the Italian Ministry of Education. Educo is concerned with promoting student-centred learning through the application of theatre and drama practices.

Teatrino is Educo’s Theatre in Education programme, which provides performances consisting of fairytales, sketches, musicals, and adaptions of Shakespeare or literature for various age groups in English. We will be selecting 30 energetic performers/musicians/teachers, who love working with children and ideally have a TIE background. These actors will tour Italian schools presenting interactive English language shows supported by workshops.

Tour wage:
250 per week for new actors (paid monthly).
All accommodation and travel expenses are covered by us whilst tour groups are on the road and each tour group will travel around in their own Teatrino vehicle.

Rehearsal wage:
150 per week for rehearsals (paid weekly)
As well as this, we provide accommodation, breakfast and lunches

This unique experience provides the opportunity to act, teach and travel Italy taking in the Italian culture. It will be challenging but extremely rewarding and will prove to be invaluable in your future career.
