Honeycomb Lodge is a microbudget feature film being produced in the Ealing and Southall between the 19th November and the 9th December. The film is written by Surendra Koschar and is being directed by Lesley Manning.
A brief synopsis: Honeycomb Lodge is a safe house where young women seek refuge from domestic violence. The film tells the stories of several of these women - the events that led them to Honeycomb Lodge and how their lives are changed by the people they meet there.
It is hoped that the film will raise awareness of domestic violence
through film festival screenings both home and abroad.
We're looking for supporting artists to be in the film all ages and
ethnicities, men and women.
Come and join us on set for a day - get some experience and an opportunity to play one of the many supporting roles - including, police officers, judges, wedding guests, shifty people etc.
These are volunteer positions, there is no pay. We will cover reasonablepre agreed expenses.
