Using real footage, events and memories taken from my first year as a student living in halls, we will be working towards creating a piece of live performance that will reflect real life and truth as much as possible. We will be working on each character as an individual, developing each one both separately and as part of a group. There are members of the cast who are here to help develop the project through rehearsals to help gain a more rounded perspective on each character, by having input from several different people I hope to gain some complexity to the individuals as you would in real life. The real conversations/footage will be used as a tool to gain some entry in to this real world but may not be the conclusion of the piece, we will see where it goes but it may end up that the final performance is entirely created through the improvisations in rehearsals and instead of representing real events directly, may hold some sort of parallels to them. PERFORMANCE DATES 15th -23rd JUNE.
