To engage with a female character in at least 10 of my plays, with the aim of presenting one play as a monologue, a story well told, at next years (2020) Buxton Festival Fringe, plus perhaps the Edinburgh Fringe if everything gels... if monologue not possible? Then play exists also as duologue, with a male actor. All my plays are Philosophically inclined. None has ever been a financial success, but they have been on from Edinburgh to Johannesburg.

I don't agree with asking for a photo, but have fairly fixed ideas of what the main character should "be" like, as opposed to "look" like. They must have the depth and intensity to present the lines, and hold the audience. All my other plays require male and female mains and extras. I'm happy to send script extracts to anyone who is interested and would not expect them to be out of pocket from appearing in, or rehearsing any of my productions.

We are prepared to crowd fund for Edinburgh if required.

Two final points: as always, probably the most important of all, hence unread by most;

1) I have Leukaemia, so any actress or actors with a cancer experience are most welcome to contact me to perform in my production(s)as we shall be talking the same language and have seen the other side of Life to put it mildly...One of my plays "It's All Over Now May Be Blue" discusses Leukaemia within it.

2) I shall be 140 on my next birthday or so it feels! So if working with a decrepit oldster offends? Don't apply!
