South Wales, present day, June Brown (65), who has Tourette's syndrome, wrestles with her ambition to follow in the footsteps of her father, legendary Bingo caller Tommy Brown. With the help of best friends Cathy, Angie and Gladys will she overcome the new club managers Cox and Allen, as well as newly installed caller Danny Day to achieve her dream?

June

June is the lead protagonist in the film. She has Tourette’s Syndrome and has to overcome many obstacles in an attempt to realise her dream of being a Bingo caller.

Cathy

Cathy is June’s best friend from childhood. She is a confident and caring person who always looks out for June.
Females, aged 55 to 70

Angie

Angie is the youngest amongst the group of friends. She is innocent, naïve and has a sweet tooth when it comes to food. She also falls in love easily.
Females, aged 50 to 60

Gladys

Gladys is the eldest of the group. She is quick-witted and always ready for a drink. Gladys is never without her mobility scooter or her quarter bottle of vodka that she smuggles into the club.
Females, aged 60 to 75

Danny Day

Danny is the newly hired Bingo caller at the club – think shiny jacket, fake tan, bad wig and tight trousers. Danny sees himself as a revolutionary in his field with a tightly rehearsed dance routine to cheesy disco music and an American twang to his accent.
Males, aged 35 to 50

Amanda Cox

New co-owner and manger of the club, Amanda displays a false empathy to June with no real grasp of her condition. She only sees the potential damaging effects to business June’s tics may have in disrupting the Bingo Games.

Justine Allen

Justine is the other half of the owner/management duo and is very similar to her business partner. Only concerned with money and no understanding of June’s condition.
