Bite My Thumb are looking for an actress (aged 18 – 35) to join our production of SHAKERS by John Godber.

The show will be performed 22nd – 25th January 2014, in the studio of The Carriageworks theatre in Leeds. Rehearsals have already begun with three wonderfully talented girls in Lofthouse, Wakefield on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 7pm – 9pm. Some weeks rehearsal takes place on Monday instead of Tuesday. A rehearsal schedule is available.

Auditions are open to ALL regardless of experience.

This will be a very special performance as we have been granted special permission to produce the 2009 updated version of the classic play very rarely seen. Also it will form a loose double bill along with a sequel to Godber’s most famous play, Bouncers, to be performed in February. Again, we have been granted very special permission to do this by Godber himself.
