'The Hidden Subject' is an independent low budget short film by a Brazilian director and an experienced crew! We will be submitting the film to several festivals.

Expenses will be covered, food and refreshments will be provided on set and you will receive a copy of the film.

Auditions will be held on Wednesday 28th of August from 3pm to 7pm. Shooting will be on the 31st of August and 1st of September. Only the lead actor is required for both days. Please only apply if you are available on these dates.

We are casting the lead character OLD MAN:

An old man who collects watches carries during the end of his life, only the automatic traffic of his routine, where time escapes his control and all he has left are the lives of others.

In an old council estate, there lives an elderly and tired man who carries the marks of time on his face, body and even his mind; for it is his mind that plays tricks on him. He lives a make-believe existence and follows an unbearable daily routine - the routine and time of others. In his tiny, dirty and overloaded room, the old man hears music, a television, a radio. There are sounds from the street. There are sounds through pipes and walls; the routine of his neighbours that end up breaking into his own life. This man no longer knows his role in life, has no future, and has already forgotten his memories, which are now flooded by the lives of others.
