Dmitry Kolesnikov tells the story of himself and Alexei Nekrasov, two doomed sailors trapped in a flooded compartment on board the doomed Kursk submarine. Suffering at the hands of extreme hypothermia and a depleting supply of oxygen, the two men can do nothing but wonder if rescue is on the way. When it dawns on the men rescue is unlikely, they begin to discuss their lives in the hope of accepting their impending fate.

Actors should be aware of physical factors of the role. Shooting will take place in cold water for short periods. Wet-suits will be provided. 2 day & night shoot.

Accommodation will be provided on location.

Roles are intensive and will be a good experience for actors. Actors will be speaking in Russian, actors capable of also speaking in English are preferable.
The film will be shot in West Sussex where the set is being constructed within a safe, dry, indoor location.
Input from actors regarding characterisation or suggestions for the filmmakers is encouraged. Improvisational skills will be valued.
