This inaugural production celebrates the culture of New Orleans and recreates the pure joy of dancing down Bourbon Street and into funky bars brimming with music that gets you up off your bar stool and dancing. A jambalaya of immersive, down-home theatre and a crazy Mardi Gras masquerade party. This production is part of the Vault Festival in the Old Vic Tunnels.
SHOW DATE: Feb 24, 10pm - 1am
LOOKING FOR: Performers to help bring to life the world of New Orleans for a night. Circus and street carnival skills, American dialects (especially southern), physical acting training, musical talents, experience in immersive improvisatory theatre.
Some individual research and preparation may be necessary. Rehearses Feb 24th daytime only.
