The Production
2.8 Hours Later is Street Game that combines elements of play and theatre. With some scenes staged on the street and others in an array of interesting locations. Each city we visit gets a unique staging of the game. Some past locations have included Multi storey car parks, Derelict shops, Churches, Police stations, Bank volts and shopping Malls. With 500 players per night and minimum 4 night run in any city, we are looking to have up to 16,000 players this year.
We tell our players that starting from a secret city centre location, 2.8 Hours Later is a thrill-packed roller coaster ride of zombie movie action. The game starts at sundown and is 2.8 hours of pure adrenaline. The experience is physically and psychologically challenging and though your adrenaline will keep you going, you'd better be prepared for a night of endurance. This is after all, the end of the world!
Players find themselves in a city that has been devastated by a zombie infection. Their aim: to find the small pockets of survivors hiding out in some amazing locations, while all the time running from the hordes of bloodthirsty zombies roaming the streets. Each location will get them one step closer to the survivors camp - the last safe place in the city. Their goal is to make it through this nightmarish world and find the Survivors camp and the Zombie disco within.
Each city has a different layout and different characters. The character list provided is a complete set from which we select the appropriate ones for the city. Please apply for any role you like. If we like you we will ask you to come to a casting session. We do not strictly cast actors by the role they applied for.

Supporting Roles
The Game Breifer
Male / Female, 25 - 40
This is the person responsible for briefing players at the beginning of the game. We see this role as being somewhere between a compere and a game show host.
The Searching Wife
Female 25-45
Her Husband has disappeared. She roams the streets in her PJ's and slippers looking for him.
The Kidnapped
Female 20- 40
She's having a bad day. It started with the apocalypse snapping at her heels and its ended up with her being kidnapped and tied to a chair. What are the kidnappers plans for her? your guess is as good as hers...
The Grandparent
Male/ Female, 60+
A Grandparent who has just survived a zombie attack. He ran a family shop along with his husband/wife and two children. They were all killed in the attack except for them and there granddaughter. But she was bitten. They must decide what to do.
The Grandaughter
Under 22
Her family has been ravaged by the infection. Most of them lay dead having killed each other as they turned. She was bitten too, her grandparent now watches over her. They both know what’s coming.
The Workman
Male 24-34
A site worker who escaped a zombie attack. His co-workers were not so lucky. He looks on as one of his mates is ravaged can he help them?
The Zombie Hen Party
4x females mixed, 20s - 40s
Typical binge drinking hen party with rowdy girls. They have been bitten and are zombies now but can you tell the difference? One is wearing the ragged remains of a bridal gown and an L-plate. the others are wearing matching pink dresses, tights, heels and bunny ears
Survivors Camp Leader
Female 40-60
Somebody had to take charge of the camp and after the government collapsed she was the closest thing to an authority figure left alive.
The last thing she is going to do is let a zombie into their compound. Standing on the threshold at the end of the game, she call the players in to the final location and grill them about contact with zombies before sending them to be scanned and processed.
The Injured Player
Male/ female, 20-30
Just another player in the game? Maybe, but something has changed. They tell other players that the zombies aren't playing any more. Clutching at a wound on their arm, they feel warm and vulnerable. They have been bitten and herald a warning Don't Go that way...
The Paramedic
Male/ Female 25-55
Their team was overwhelmed while they were attempting to help people. They are out of their depth here. They are not trained to deal with the undead. They are lost in panic, fear and sorrow.
The Pub Looter
Female, 25 - 35
Her name is Yvonne. She has broken into the pub to seek refuge. She had planned to meet her boyfriend here but he is nowhere to be seen. She is warm, like able and affable. She is in good spirits despite current events. Players should be glad to find a friendly familiar face in the game. Unbeknown to her, her boyfriend has already arrived though and is now a zombie lurking behind the bar...
The Pub Looters Boyfriend
Male, 25 - 35
His name is Declan, his girlfriend has broken in to the pub to seek refuge. She is in good spirits despite current events. He pops up from the back and surprises her. He was bitten pretty soon after he arrived. He overwhelms her and drags her down. He's just a zombie now.
