I would like to invite you to audition for a Masters level Fine Art student film to be shot in Wolverhampton and Birmingham. The auditions will be taking place from the 19th November at the University of Wolverhampton.

The film is about a young married man who decides to quit his job in IT Support and go back to university to study photography. He finds himself falling for a fellow student, a young Chinese woman, but is unable to confront the issue.

The role will be almost completely free form dialogue, with no written script, just plot points to serve as a guide. The idea is that the actor and the character will merge into one and personal experiences will feed into the role to develop a completely new character beyond the barriers of the original idea.

The film will be shot in Birmingham and Wolverhampton entirely and is unpaid, as there is no budget. All actors will receive a DVD of the film shortly after completion and a 10 minute selection of scenes for their showreel.

I am holding auditions between 10:30 and 12:30 on both Monday 19th and Tuesday 20th November at the University of Wolverhampton's School of Art and Design Block, ground floor video studio.
