The film is being produced by a small group of students titled ‘LadyFrotto’. The basic principle is that a man is given a tripod off a friend and he soon discovers that the tripod with luscious lips is alive and he builds a relationship with ‘it’. We will follow the period of this relationship and how it develops from romance to the final break up. The project is being completed by a group of students who are currently studying a BSc in Digital Film Making at Brooksby Melton College and as a final project will be creating this short film for these festivals: Foyle Film Festival http://www.foylefilmfestival.org, Raindance Film Festival http://www.raindance.org We have worked on previous films before, one of which was ‘A Vision of Yellow’ which was nominated for ‘Best Short Film’ at the ‘Bootleg Film Festival 2012’ which was well received at the festival in Toronto, Canada. Our professional IMDB profiles are linked at the end of this email for you to look at. We are intending to film during the week commencing 29th April 2013 for three days based around your availability. However, due to equipment hire we would prefer to film on the Monday 29th Tuesday 30th & Wednesday 31st. We will be filming in a flat in Burton on Trent and hope to finish the project by the end of May at the latest. If you are available we will happily send you the script and any other information you require. As you may appreciate we are unable to pay for the role however we are happy to cover any expenses that may be incurred. Informal audition will be held around your availability.
