Hello,

I'm an amateur film maker looking for a male actor within the age range of 25 and 43 for the lead role in a music video/short film hybrid. We intend to shoot it as a short film and then for a local music label to produce music for it. We are also working with an up and coming hiphop artist to produce 'bookends' for our story which run along the same theme.

Shooting is aimed for weekends over May/June, with Auditions to be held at some point in late February/early March. There may also be night shoots on the production.

It may also interest you that although I have written and made short films before, as well as having one currently in production, I'd like to work closely with the lead actor on creating the character and story. I already have parts of the film blocked out but I feel a close working relationship with an actor will help deliver a stronger, and more realistic, performance.

Over to the music video, it centralizes on our protagonists struggle to come to terms with the death of a loved one, and his demise into bloody violence and (ineffectual) revenge. The script will have little to no dialogue and instead be based more upon actions and character. It will run at around 4-5 minutes in length.
