We have won a competition to make a short film for Divine Chocolate with support from the Birds Eye View Film Festival.

Entitled “Sweeten the Deal”, our two to three-minute film is an endearing comedy that will be distributed to an online audience through social media. It will be a viral hit on sharing sites like YouTube. It may also feature at the Birds Eye View Film Festival.

The synopsis: In the style of a mockumentary, a camera crew follows gorgeous Johnny as he opens his annual kissing booth. Proclaimed BEST KISS of 2010, Johnny isn't shy about his snogging talents. But this year Johnny isn\'t drawing the usual numbers. When a mysterious, new booth with a growing queue of excited women outshines his own booth, he tries to stay confident in front of the camera but even Johnny has a breaking point. What could possibly be stealing Johnny\s female fan club?

We are looking for a MALE actor, mid to late 20s ideally, to fill the role of JOHNNY, a smug pretty boy who undergoes a personal trauma when he realizes that women are choosing chocolate over him. Experience is necessary.

The film requires one day of shooting and some preparation work with the main actor. We are aiming for the first week of October.
